How does Red Light Therapy work?


With a wavelength of 630 to 700 nanometers, red LEDs travel two to three millimeters below the skin's surface, into the dermis. Red Light energy stimulates the fibroblasts, encouraging the production of more collagen and elastic fibers. Red Light Therapy also reduces the skin’s existing amount of MMP-1, an enzyme that breaks down existing collagen. In addition, Red Light treatments decrease inflammation, improve circulation, increase cell energy and accelerate healing.

How does Blue Light Therapy work?
